Floating Corobici River (full day)

A two and a half hour Journey on a safe raft floating down the Corobici River until the Tenorio River, where incredible birds will delight your vision. Some of the birds that are possible to see on this trip include the snowy egret, tricolored heron, roseate spoonbill, black headed trogon, turquoise browed motmot, boatbill heron. The tropical flora along the river is the perfect background for this unforgettable and unique experience.

Hanging Bridges on the Rainforest (full day)

A full day trip to the Tenorio Volcano Conservation Area where you will be able to observe some of the most incredible sights of the rain forest. During a nature walk of approximately two and half hours through the forest you will discover four suspension bridges that will bring you to different observation levels in order to admire the flora and fauna of this beautiful ecosystem. Your naturalist guide will share the most interesting facts of the Tropical Humid Forest and will show you flora ranging from species of palms, heliconias, ferns, bromelias, and orchids to different kinds of trees such as Avocado, Sapodilla, Pilon, and the juicer Danto as well as fauna including tapirs, collard peccaries, red bracket deers, squirrels, howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, celots, giant anteaters, and such birds as the billboards, the guan, and the trogon. Besides this rich biodiversity, the Tenorio Volcano National Park also has a waterfall and hot water springs.

The nature SPA will give you the opportunity to apply a mud mask rich in minerals that will clean your skin an make you feel reborn. Then you will visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Guanacaste. Enjoy a 1-hour guided horseback riding through the forest. After a delicious style Costa Rican lunch you will experience the forest in a very unique way...like a monkey (with a harness and safety equipment) from the top of these ancestral trees. Palo Verde National Park (lunch)

A full day tour to Palo Verde National Park which is a wildlife sanctuary. Scientists from all over the world come to study this rich ecosystem that combines rivers, marshland, mangroves and dry forest. A river cruise will take you on the Tempisque River, the most important river in Guanacaste, for an oportunity to admire the natural beauty of this park and look for crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and the thousands of birds that migrate to Palo Verde.

Rincon de la Vieja National Park (full day)

A nature hike through the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park, an active volcano draped with virgin forest which lies 12 miles northeast of Liberia. You will find bubbling mud, steamy sulfur water ponds and fumaroles while you explore the 2 miles of trails in the jungle. As you walk, your guide will describe all the secrets of the forest and keep searching for the animals that make this park their home. Resident species include the resplendent quetzal, three-wattled bell birds, morpho butterflies, tapir, coati mundis and three kinds of monkeys.
